At the end of 2025 Tonto started development of DAGKnight and it has been in public testnet in Q1 of 2026 while the mainnet has had ton of optimizations, because pentesters have found new serious ways to crash the network nodes. Tonto has been busy optimizing current mainnet node, development and testing of dagknight and personal life.
The Hetzner server was completely migrated to DL380 and dockerized for easier migrations in future. There is backup explorer at https://explorer-two.hoosat.fi ran by Chargn.
Q1 of 2026 did not see any new development of the Hoosat Marketplace, because Hoosat Oy has been decided to be shut down by the shareholders. Because of this there is currently no monetary reason to focus on cryptocurrency Marketplace development, because there are so many global regulations around the topic. This might change in future depending on how thing play out with the network. The Hoosat Oy shutdown in itself will show that Hoosat Network is decentralized network and anyone can build on the network without single company being in control.
Please do not take the marketplace development stalling as a mark of no progress. Hoosat Network is the first project ever to launch Yonatan Sompolinsky's DAGKnight on public testnet and possibly into mainnet. We have also increased our 5 BPS network block processing speeds by over 300%. We have written better node memory management for UTXO handling to allow wallets containing high amounts of UTXO to be compounded succesfully. All around optimizations and bug fixes in the Golang node code. HTN 1.7.0 release gives solid code base to continue development in dagknight branch until the hard fork for DAGKnight. The node now can now also be ran on Arm64 with Linux as the Golang CPU architecture issue was solved with CGo. Foztor has also setup pulseviewer for HTN: https://pulse.htn.foztor.net/dagpulse
Your continued support and feedback are invaluable as we work towards enhancing user experience. Thank you for being a part of the Hoosat Network community.
