At Hoosat Network we are trying to minimize making empty promises, because of that we publish quarterly plans upfront. These plans may change, because of distruptions in development.
For example notable distruptions in development that have happened in 2024:
- Explorer problems, because of database filler attacks.
- Hoohash fast tracking becauce of Entity.
- Possibility of mining with wrong algorithm.
Every new quarterly roadmap will be released just before the quarter starts.
- Block Version 2, DAA Score 17,500,000, September 26, 2024
- Introduced Hoohash, a GPU-minable proof-of-work algorithm engineered to counter FPGA and ASIC dominance. This was achieved by creating a parallel processing bottleneck through non-linear equation modifications within matrix multiplication. The result was enhanced security, improved decentralization, and a leveled playing field for various GPUs. By mitigating hardware disparities, Hoohash also revitalized older GPUs, making them competitive once again.
- Block Version 3, DAA Score 21,821,800, November 15, 2024
- Update to Hoohash for better floating point rounding precision between GPU and CPU.
- Real proof-of-work hash validation. Require miners to send proof of work hash to be validated in stratum and node. Giving pools and nodes the power to notice miners nonce spamming or mining on wrong algorithm instantly.
